Alan has over 30 years’ experience advising private and listed companies on corporate transactions. With a strong and demonstrable track record, he specialises in valuations, strategic value advice, and acting as an independent expert.
Alan undertakes complex valuations across businesses, intangible assets, employee equity schemes, and financial instruments. His reports support stakeholders in making informed decisions in relation to corporate transactions, tax structuring, and financial reporting. He is also frequently engaged to prepare independent expert reports for ASX-listed transactions, as well as to provide expert opinions in litigation and dispute resolution matters.
His ability to deliver insightful advice is underpinned by a deep understanding of business drivers, competitive positioning, and broader market dynamics.
In addition to his client work, Alan has served on Boards and Advisory Boards of commercial organisations. He is also actively involved in supporting a range of charities and industry bodies.
Alan joined Pitcher Partners in 2006 and became a Partner of the Sydney firm in 2010.
