Animalcare acquires Randlab in $120m deal
Pitcher Partners would like to congratulate Animalcare Group plc (“Animalcare”), an international animal health business, on its conditional acquisition of Randlab Group (“Randlab”), a privately owned, Australian-based equine veterinary business.
This $120m deal is a major opportunity for Animalcare to enhance their presence in the equine veterinary market while adding to their existing product portfolio. It will also support global expansion from the UK and Europe into Australia and New Zealand and is expected to boost earnings in FY25.
Animalcare was advised by Pitcher Partners Sydney, with law firm Squire Patton Boggs acting as legal advisors on the transaction.
Partner, Vin Parasuraman, led the due diligence process alongside the Sydney Corporate Finance team and Tax Partner, Paul Marino.
Vin said it is a game-changing deal for both parties, “finding the right fit, at the right time is a fantastic outcome for everyone involved.”
