We’re proud to present Pitcher Partners Melbourne’s sixth Charitable Committee report, and our collective efforts to support the community.
We know we couldn’t do what we do without our people. And we also know that ‘our people’ extends beyond our staff. It includes our clients and the communities they help and are invested in. And we’re committed to helping our people make an impact. For us, that means supporting initiatives that care for the people, places, and communities close to our hearts.
With the ongoing economic pressures facing communities, we know that it’s more important than ever to give back. Over this last financial year, we have been fortunate to continue supporting local charities. We do this in several ways:
- Providing technical expertise free or at significantly reduced rates to help organisations drive impactful change
- Paid volunteer days to give our people the chance to play an active role in supporting charities
- Providing university scholarships in partnership with Deakin University for the next generation
- In-office events and campaigns to raise funds and gather supplies and essentials for those in need
Looking ahead, we are excited about the prospects of furthering our impact, with a focus on key causes and educational opportunities. We’re committed to making sure that our contributions make a significant difference, and the Committee’s work is a testament to the collective effort of our staff, clients, partners, and volunteers.
We’re grateful for the support of the numerous not-for-profit organisations that we have worked with this financial year, and we’re eager to see what the future holds as we keep working together.
