As a chartered accountant with over 12 years of professional practice experience, Michael provides his clients with extensive expertise across a full range of business advisory services.
Throughout his career, Michael has overseen the assurance engagements for a number of iron ore, gold, nickel and copper mining operations across Australia.
Michael is also a trusted advisor to a number of companies listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), large private companies, and multinational entities, assisting them with their assurance and financial reporting requirements.
He is particularly proud of the role he has played in assisting a number of clients during their IPO process. His background and experience to date means that he has a deep understanding of the accounting issues that arise during such a transaction.
What drives Michael is his desire to add value to a client’s operations and assisting them in the execution of their organisational growth strategy. His specialisation predominantly lies in external audit of natural resources and ASX listed companies, although he enjoys working with all businesses in the middle market. Michael’s exposure to a variety of industries enables him to provide meaningful advice, enhancing the decision-making processes and operational systems of his clients.
Dedicated to long-term collaborative relationships, Michael is proud to have many clients with whom he has worked since he was a graduate. He enjoys seeing their businesses grow and evolve over time. Clients see Michael as a trusted on-call advisor, often being the first point of call for any queries or concerns that arise during their day-to-day business.
Michael first joined Pitcher Partners’ Perth firm through the graduate program in 2012. He was appointed Executive Director in 2023.
