Alex specialises in advising mid-market businesses, private equity investors and listed companies on mergers and acquisitions, financial due diligence and valuations. He supports clients across both buy-side and sell-side engagements, with experience spanning the full transaction lifecycle from pre-deal preparation through to execution.
He has worked across a range of transactions including business sales, acquisitions and capital events (including IPOs), with experience across sectors including food and beverage, retail and wholesale, engineering and professional services, as well as real estate and related services.
Alex’s due diligence experience focuses on identifying key earnings, working capital and structuring considerations to support informed decision-making. In divestment advisory, he works closely with management teams, investors and other advisors to manage transaction risk, maintain process discipline and progress deals to completion.
Prior to corporate finance, Alex worked in audit and financial reporting, developing a strong technical foundation across accounting, controls and financial analysis. This experience continues to inform his approach to transactions, with a focus on the integrity of financial information, drawing out the underlying story within the numbers, and translating these into clear, practical insights on value.
