Withthe continuous expansion of our Corporate Finance practice, this presents afantastic opportunity for someone who wants a path to partnership!
The Role:
We have anexceptional chance for you to scale your experience and career in CorporateFinance (Transaction Services) specifically in Financial Due Diligence. In thisrole, you will provide due diligence and transaction advisory services to ourclients to meet their complex financial needs. You will work directly with theCF partner, TS team and clients, where the outcomes of your work can haveimmediate impact on the deal.
KeyResponsibilities:
Our clients includeprivately held and publicly traded companies, private equity funds, andbusiness development companies. This multi-faceted client base allows us toprovide our staff with a variety of opportunities across numerous industries,and a constant flow of challenging and meaningful work.
Proactively analysedetailed financial information including income statement, balance sheet, cashflow, forecast and key operational data of targets/clients through reviewingmanagement accounts and accounting records.
Synthesize and convert thedata into meaningful information to analyse trends and conclusions and in turnto be used to drive discussions with target management.
Based on analysis ofhistorical and forecast financial information, provide well articulatedanalytical and commercial insights and prepare financial due diligence databooks, and write high quality financial due diligence reports for buy-side,sell-side and pre-lend due diligence assignments.
Identify issues anddrivers that impact purchase price, sale agreement drafting, and dealstructuring
Participate and lead inmeetings and conference calls with target company management and with clientpersonnel to ensure delivery of exceptional client service.
Assisting withInvestigating Accountant’s Report assignments for capital raisings and IPOs
Coach and develop a teamof talented juniors to build trusted relationships and grow their capabilitiesand in turn leading to firm’s and personal growth.
Leverage our integratedoffering and build your brand’ across the firm and clients.
Assist in businessdevelopment, client pitch including preparing proposals for new and potentialclients with the aim of winning work. Assist in risk management, other generalmarketing and operational activities.
What we are lookingfor:
Academic qualificationsincluding a Bachelors in Accounting/Finance/Business and a CA or internationalequivalent.
Between 5-8 years ofexperience in a mid to large size professional services firm with experience ina Transaction diligence role performing audits, financial due diligence andrelated services for a diverse client base.
Strong numerical &analytical skills with sound business acumen
High proficiency in Exceland PowerPoint.
Fluent written and spokencommunication skills, as well as strong report-writing and presentation skills
Proactive, willingness tolearn, attention to detail and commercially minded
Project management skills,ability to thrive and multitask, and able to keep calm when under pressure tomeet deadlines.
Team oriented individualwith strong interpersonal & client relationship skills.
