Client focus, growth mindset locks in Pitcher Partners as Top 10 accounting firm
PITCHER PARTNERS NATIONAL 9 NOVEMBER 2022:
Pitcher Partners remains firmly entrenched as one of the Top 10 accounting firms in Australia, coming in at number 9 on the Australian Financial Review’s Top 100 list.
Steady revenue growth for Pitcher Partners across its six independent firms reflected its high performance and agility in anticipating the rapidly shifting business environment.
Pitcher Partners National Chairman John Brazzale said the growth reflected its focus on its clients, who deeply respect the depth of expertise available to them.
“Our focus has always been on helping clients achieve their goals and we have continued to deliver sound practical advice as businesses have been tested in different ways across the last 12 months,” Mr Brazzale said.
“As business put COVID-19 lockdowns behind them, a new bundle of challenges emerged with rising interest rates, inflation pressures and energy security.
“We have assisted clients with navigating cashflow, capital expenditure commitments, new business opportunities, insolvencies, mergers and acquisitions and keeping our clients informed about federal and state government initiatives.
“Our people are our strength, with an abundance of experience and knowledge across a broad range of industries, which informs our key practice areas of business advisory, tax, audit, SMSF, wealth management, and finance.”
Corporate Finance and Tax Advisory are two of Pitcher Partners’ fastest growing practice areas within the network, but there was strong growth across most areas of specialisation.
In 2022, 10 new Partners added their collective strength to the network of firms, including four women, which grew the Partnership to 137. Women now represent 17 per cent of the 137 partners, up from 15 per cent in 2021.
Women now represent 17 per cent of the 137 partners, up from 15 per cent in 2021, while our graduate intake included 54 women, 40 per cent of the cohort.
“Pitcher Partners is committed to closing the gender gap and the Partner promotions came in practice areas as diverse as corporate finance, private business and family advisory, tax advisory, and business advisory and assurance,” Mr Brazzale said.
“We have always focused on nurturing and developing our people, which is best practice in an environment of high competition for talent and an important piece in how we are working to make business personal.”
Yet more opportunities and partnerships loom in 2023 and the Pitcher Partners network is looking ahead with a strong growth mindset and forging deeper relationship with clients.
