Pitcher Partners maintains its strong position among the leading accounting firms in Australia, securing 9th spot on the Australian Financial Review’s prestigious Top 100 list.
Sustained revenue growth for Pitcher Partners across its six independent firms reflected the opportunities to work more extensively with existing clients and build relationships with new clients.
Pitcher Partners National Chairman John Brazzale said the growth reflected the efforts of teams working together and delivering great results and impact for clients.
“We continue to be dedicated and support our clients across the year, and this great result is testament to the strength of the Pitcher Partners network,” Mr Brazzale said.
“We have seen an increase in businesses looking to us to help them navigate the economic uncertainty of recent months, including banking and finance facilities, cost management programs and strategic planning.
“We expect economic uncertainty to continue across the next 12 months and beyond, and will strive to stay close to our clients and apply our understanding of the middle market, to offer them relevant and valuable advice and services.
“Our Tax Advisory services have seen increased demand from clients as they navigate complex tax matters and increased ATO attention. Our Corporate Finance teams have also seen increased activity despite a slower market for mergers and acquisitions in Australia in 2023 to date.”
“And we have continued to build our digital and data solutions offering, reflecting the importance it has in our clients’ decision-making and digitisation”.
The successful integration of DFK Crosbie into Pitcher Partners Newcastle has delivered a strong result for its first full financial year and they bring a deep expertise in hospitality to the network.
In 2023, 12 new Partners added their collective expertise to the network, which grew the partnership to 149.
“Pitcher Partners is focused on providing expertise to deliver successful outcomes for our clients, and the Partner promotions in existing practice areas of Corporate Finance, Wealth Management, Private Business and Family Advisory, Tax Advisory, and Business Advisory and Assurance, and the newer service offering of Digital and Data Solutions reflects this focus,” Mr Brazzale said.
“We are always focused on fostering the growth and professional development of our people. This approach aligns with industry best practice, especially in the current highly competitive talent environment, and plays a vital role in our commitment to making business personal.”
New opportunities and collaborations await in 2024 and the Pitcher Partners network is looking to the future with a strong growth mindset and developing deeper connections with clients.
