Lawrence is a Client Director for the Tax Advisory division and has provided tax specialist advisory for over 25 years. With a client base mainly consisting of business owners, he offers services including tax treatment and implications for commercial transactions, effective tax structuring, the preparation of businesses for sale, purchase and mergers or demerger matters.
Additionally, Lawrence specialises in the SME segment, addressing CGT, income tax, employee share and equity schemes, international tax, entity reorganisation and restructure issues.
He uses his extensive knowledge to advise Australian companies on the tax implications of expanding into international markets, assisting them to develop appropriate business structures and models that are designed to reduce the incidence of tax. Lawrence also holds expansive experience in assisting foreign companies to set up their business within Australia in a manner that enables them to extract maximum value.
Through the combination of his legal and tax background, Lawrence is well positioned to assist individuals and businesses to deal with contentious issues with the Australian Taxation Office representing their case to achieve resolution.
Lawrence joined Pitcher Partners as a Client Director in 2017.
