Jake has over ten years’ experience working across a wide range of entities and sectors, including conducting statutory external audits for listed clients, large privately owned businesses, and servicing Not-for-Profit structures, such as large charities, school systems, member organisations and federal government agencies.
Jake has achieved outstanding client outcomes by providing insightful recommendations on business processes and procedures, and implementing effective controls to enhance client operations and bring solutions to financial challenges.
In 2019, Jake participated in our secondment program and had the opportunity to immerse himself in the work culture of Baker Tilly US. He also has a passion for making a difference, demonstrated through his involvement in multiple charity initiatives.
His blend of technical knowledge and strong communication skills allows Jake to consistently ensure a comprehensive understanding of client requirements, while effectively setting and managing expectations from the very beginning.
From a client’s standpoint, Jake plays an important role within the Retain team, effectively managing the scheduling and allocation of resources to ensure the timely completion of our audits.
Jake joined Pitcher Partners Newcastle as a Cadet in 2007 working across the Audit and PBFA divisions before his move to Sydney in 2014 to become a member of our BAA team.
