to on-going growth and opportunities, we
currently have an excellent opportunity for a Tax Manager to join the
team.

The
Role:

Integral
to the role will be the provision of seamless taxation advisory
and compliance services to a range of clients across a broad range of
sectors.

Proven
experience providing Australian tax advice and solutions for a private and
public corporate client base is essential. This
experience should have been acquired in a specialist corporate tax
division or a business services team with a very strong focus on tax
within a reputable chartered firm. Experience across the spectrum of
income tax, GST, employment and state taxes would be ideal, but not essential.

Due to our growth and breadth of work, the role will provide a balanced mix of compliance and advisory, with endless opportunities to expand your skills and tax
technical knowledge.

Experience
with the following would be an advantage, but not
essential:

  1. Corporate entities with turnover of $50m and above
  2. Tax effect accounting
  3. International tax (Pillar 2, CFCs, hybrid mismatch,
    thin capitalisation etc)
  4. Preparation of tax advice on issues such as corporate
    tax matters, structuring, due diligence, consolidation, Permanent
    Establishments and tax treaties, Capital Gains Tax, Division 7A,
    governance and insurance.

What You Bring

  • As the ideal candidate, you will be degree-qualified
    and have completed your CA/CPA qualification and progression or completion
    to CTA or Masters of Tax would beneficial. You should have 5+ years’
    experience and bring a solid tax compliance background complimented with
    tax technical knowledge and skills including writing and presenting
    detailed tax advice to clients with an ability to conduct independent
    research and decipher legislation.

  • You can demonstrate your experience managing a
    portfolio of tax compliance and advisory clients, as well as have a proven
    ability to understand client needs and exhibit a high level of client
    service.

    knowledge.
