The Private Business and Family Advisory team create value and improve the way our clients work by providing advice such as; asset protection, business performance, business reporting, accounting and taxation management, wealth protection and generational change management 

About the role 

The Senior Analyst, PBFA Technical Training is a specialist role within PBFA that requires you to leverage your expertise as a practitioner to support with the design, development and delivery of the firm’s Accounting and Business Advisory (ABA) learning programs. 

Reporting to the Learning & Development Senior Manager, this role will focus on upskilling and advancing our junior team members (< 4 years’ experience) through supporting the design, development and delivery of learning solutions and the provision of on-the-job support.  

It is important that this role is seen to be available to provide learning support, and therefore this is predominantly an ‘in office’ role. 

Key responsibilities 

  • Design, develop and deliver technical training programs, aligned to firm standards and capability frameworks. 
  • Translate complex accounting and advisory concepts into practical, engaging learning materials and workshops. 
  • Partner with senior stakeholders, subject matter experts and the Learning & Development team to identify capability gaps and training priorities. 
  • Provide on-the-job technical support and coaching to junior staff to embed learning and build practical competence. 
  • Maintain and continuously improve technical training content to reflect legislative changes, technical updates and best practice. 
  • Support the evaluation of learning effectiveness through feedback, assessment outcomes and stakeholder input. 

Who we’re after

  • Related tertiary qualifications in accounting and current experience in professional environment. 
  • Armed with strong technical knowledge, you are CA or CPA qualified. 
  • Passionate about learning and development, helping others and facilitating training sessions.
