Due
to our growth, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an individual in
the early stages of their career to join our wealth management team.
The
role:
The
wealth management division is expanding. We are seeking an Associate who will
assist advisers with day to day tasks including preparing statements of advice
and investment reviews. In time, the successful candidate will accompany our
advisors in regular client meetings and attend to any queries they may have.
Key
Accountabilities:
- Developing strategies for new and existing clients
- Writing Statements of Advice (SOA’s), Records of
Advice, proposals for new clients, engagement letters - Working very closely with the advisers on strategy and
implementation - Financial projections and scenarios – using Excel
- Compliance and adherence to regulatory frameworks
- Ability to collate and present financial information
- Contributes towards the review of client portfolio
review reports in conjunction with changes in client circumstances and
investments and general market movement - Ability to recognise the importance of the client and
be willing to speak to the client and follow up their enquires promptly
and accurately - Ability to liaise with partners/advisors to obtain
instructions and deliver on requests - Capacity to formulate effective financial plan
documents in line with strategy provided by Partners/Financial Advisors
having regard to client needs, objectives, and risk tolerance
What
we are looking for:
- Completed a relevant degree in accounting, economics,
finance, commerce or law. - Preferably 12 months prior experience within the
Financial Planning industry or in Financial Services - Have a passion for Wealth Management/Financial Planning
- Some understanding of superannuation, tax concepts and
investing - Understanding of the regulatory requirements
- Strong report writing skills
- Impeccable organisational and time management skills
- A genuine appreciation and desire to deliver
exceptional client service - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail, good listening skills and an
eagerness to learn - Proficiency in Microsoft packages
