What we’re looking for
We have an opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join our growing Tax Consulting division here at Pitcher Partners Brisbane.

What you will bring
You are an experienced Accountant with a solid broad base compliance skillset ranging across income tax, GST, accounting and employment tax disciplines (should you have any Transfer Pricing, International Tax or Government Grants experience this will be considered favourably – but not required as we can provide all necessary training to skill you up).

From your years of experience, you have solid capability in the preparation of financial statements for clients of different size and complexity. Your solid compliance capabilities will be highly valued by everyone in the Tax Consulting division. You are willing to explore new concepts and be open to learning new skills to better assist everyone in the Tax Consulting division.

You have a desire to expand your career in a value-adding tax advisory capacity working on a wide range of clients – including small to large, domestic, and cross-border businesses, private equity / venture capital funds, listed companies and significant Government Owned Corporations.

You will be part of client engagement teams that will have a wide variety of different engagements including:

• General compliance.
• Corporate tax compliance.
• Transaction tax advisory.
• Transfer pricing / international tax analysis; and
• Any kind of taxation issues that relate to your clients.

We are a Tax Consulting Division that prides itself on being client-relationship focused. We are known for amazing client support, and do not engage in any isolated / siloed approaches.

The Team

The Pitcher Partners Tax Consulting division adopts a flexible working approach to assist all team members. This role allows for a level of remote working (work where you or your team needs you to be). However, the role of an intermediate Accountant in the medium term will be predominantly in-office to engage and share interest in developing and collaborating with others in the team.

The Pitcher Partners Tax Consulting division are a group of kind-hearted, sociable tax professionals who care about you as a professional and as a person. On a day-to-day basis you will be interacting with leading tax partners Simon Chun, Tom Splatt and Murray Graham, as well as our Directors David To, Meagan Kachel, Jeremy Pacheco and Marianna Knight. You will also be supported by a community of supportive and talented managers, supervisors, accountants and support staff.
