November 18, 2019

The Australian Financial Review has again named Pitcher Partners one of the top 10 accounting firms in the country in its annual Top 100 list.

The list, created in conjunction with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), ranks firms by their revenue, growth and size over the past financial year.

In 8th position nationally for the second year running, Pitcher Partners generated more than AU$260 million in revenue in the 2019 financial year.

Pitcher Partners’ six independent firms have seen organic growth achieved by focussing on the needs of clients and building a collaborative and supportive culture for Pitcher Partners’ people. The national network of firms has grown to more than 1,400 people including 122 partners, with 113 graduates joining the ranks and two new partner appointments in 2019.

Four of the Pitcher Partners’ firms – in Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle and Perth – have successfully moved to new offices to accommodate growth, to provide better working environments and to continue to improve clients’ experience.

Pitcher Partners retains a focus on its core offerings - providing strong technical expertise and highly personalised client care in the areas of accounting, audit, tax, family office services, wealth and investment advisory to middle-market businesses, large private organisations, and high net worth individuals and their families.

At the same time, the Pitcher Partners firms have strengthened their expertise and capability in consulting services such as IT consulting, data analytics, human resources, debt advisory and cyber security.

Internally, Pitcher Partners is driving an emphasis on cultivating strong relationships between the firms’ people and clients through its ‘Making business personal’ approach.

For its people, Pitcher Partners is actively providing support, flexibility and quality leadership and development through its ‘Making careers personal’ program.

As a network member of Baker Tilly International, Pitcher Partners also helps clients through the challenges of globalisation, cross-border deals and offshoring.

John Brazzale, Pitcher Partners’ National Chairman says Pitcher Partners’ unwavering focus on the middle-market for the past 28 years, adaptability and strong national and global networks have enabled the firms to continue to develop relationships with current clients while also continuing to win new work from large private groups and the middle-market.

“Pitcher Partners is the ideal option for clients who require the scale, capability and resources of a large firm, while enjoying strong personal relationships with our partners and our people,” he said.
