2025 highlights at a glance
Here are a few of the standout outcomes from the year:
- Client experience: We achieved an NPS of +71 based on feedback from 518 clients.
- Inclusion: Our 2024–25 average total remuneration Gender Pay Gap was -1.9%, lower than the accounting services industry benchmarks. We progressed initiatives that supported connection and development including PitcHER Way and PitcHER Exchange.
- Our people: Internal engagement remained strong with 122 internal communications delivered with an 89.57% engagement rate, and weekly pulse surveys that generated 1,991 observations/pieces of feedback.
- Community impact: We raised over $140,000 through the Sydney Pitcher Purpose program, contributing to a collective $515,255 donated across the Pitcher Partners national association during 2024–25. We also volunteered 366 hours as part of our program.
- Carbon baseline: We completed our first carbon footprint assessment, establishing a clear baseline of our emissions across key areas of our operations
- Operational sustainability: We embedded a digital signing solution that processed approximately 45,000 documents, helping reduce paper usage.
- Risk and governance: We implemented formal key risk indicator reporting aligned to our risk appetite statement and strengthened Executive Board oversight through a Strategic Risk and Quality Committee.
Looking ahead: where we’re focusing next
Our priorities for the next phase are practical and targeted by strengthening how we manage sustainability challenges across the business, building internal accountability, and continuing progress across governance, people and environmental foundations.
Key focus areas include monitoring emerging sustainability standards (including the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards), commencing the process toward ISO 27001 compliance, improving measurement of sustainability risks, maintaining gender pay parity, and optimising waste streams in our Sydney office.
We’re proud of what we’ve achieved so far and remain focused on the work still to come.
