Five new Partners join Pitcher Partners national network
Pitcher Partners has kicked off the new financial year with the promotion of five partners across the national network, growing the firm’s offering to clients in tax advisory, audit, private business and family advisory, and wealth management.
Our new partners are:
- Elisha Herbert, Melbourne (Tax Advisory)
- Anthony Kazamias, Brisbane (Private Business and Family Advisory)
- Lirize Loots, Sydney (Tax Advisory)
- Sean Troyahn, Brisbane (Business Advisory and Assurance)
- Andrew Wilson, Sydney (Private Wealth)
In total, seven new partners have joined the partnership in 2025, after two Sydney-based partners, US and cross-border tax expert Terry Hoban, and private equity and venture capital fund leader Dragan Misic, joined earlier this year.
Pitcher Partners National Chairman John Brazzale said the new partners demonstrate the network’s ongoing commitment to nurturing talent and providing exceptional value to clients in an increasingly complex and regulated business environment.
“Businesses across all sectors are facing a convergence of pressures, from tightening regulatory scrutiny and shifting tax interpretations to increased governance demands and the advent of mandatory sustainability reporting,” Mr Brazzale said.
“As scrutiny from regulators increases, business leaders are recognising the urgent need to be more proactive, informed, and strategically aligned.
“This environment is creating a growing demand for trusted, technically astute advisors, who can provide insights that are tailored, forward-looking, and grounded in a deep understanding of their business and operating environment.”
These appointments commence on July 1, 2025.
Elisha Herbert
A recognised specialist in GST, with 18 years’ experience in tax advisory, Elisha is a trusted advisor to a diverse portfolio of clients. She advises clients across a range of industries, with a particular interest in the property sector.
Elisha helps clients navigate the complexities of the GST law, providing both practical and commercial solutions. She also actively supports clients through the Australian Taxation Office’s comprehensive program of reviews and audits.
“Working with clients early on allows us to enhance their compliance processes and embed best-practice governance frameworks,” she said.
“This proactive approach not only streamlines review processes but also drives stronger, more predictable outcomes when dealing with the ATO.”
Anthony Kazamias
Anthony plays a dual role within Pitcher Partners’ Private Business and Family Advisory (PBFA) division, supporting a wide range of clients in both general tax advisory and highly specialised employment tax matters.
“Half my work is focused on private clients – business owners, family enterprises, developers, and emerging companies, helping them with structuring, compliance, and strategic tax advice,” he said.
“The other half is in employment taxes, which includes FBT, payroll tax, super, and PAYG withholding. That side involves clients of all shapes and sizes, from listed corporates to not-for-profits.”
Lirize Loots
Lirize is a transfer pricing specialist with more than 20 years’ experience in professional services and understands Australia’s heavy compliance burden compared to other jurisdictions.
“As the compliance requirements become more complex, business leaders are focused on keeping it simple and the way we bring the personal touch is by putting ourselves in our clients’ shoes and understanding their perspectives,” she said.
“They just want to do the right thing in the most efficient manner. They recognise transfer pricing isn’t their core business and look to advisors for guidance regarding compliance.
“They want to know what they need to worry about; what their options are to mitigate these risks, and whether the pricing or profit outcome of transaction with the overseas related party makes commercial sense.”
Sean Troyahn
Sean brings more than a decade of experience and leadership to Pitcher Partners’ audit and assurance team, joining the Partnership as boards confront tighter regulation and the emergence of sustainability reporting.
Working in sectors such as software, construction, aviation, fast-moving consumer goods, and labour hire, he has developed a practical understanding of the unique operational and regulatory challenges these industries face.
He said many clients were looking for clarity and confidence as they navigated new requirements and uncertainty, particularly around ESG disclosures.
“These are also important considerations for the broader business community as well, and as a result, much of our current focus is on helping clients meet their obligations and strengthening their internal processes and governance,” he said.
Andrew Wilson
With a career in financial advisory roles spanning nearly two decades, Andrew brings deep expertise in investment strategy, trusted client partnerships, and integrated wealth planning.
“Private wealth is inherently personal,” he said.
“Yes, we manage investments, but what we’re doing is helping people make decisions that shape their futures, their family legacies, retirement goals, business transitions, and everything in between.
“Clients want more than just performance. They want clarity, direction, and someone they trust to help them make the right decisions in uncertain times.
“In private wealth management, relationships are everything. Clients seek advisors who offer empathy, strategic insight, and a steady hand at every life stage.
“We also provide access to distinctive investment opportunities that aren’t always available through traditional channels – giving clients a broader, more tailored path to achieving their goals.”
