Pitcher Partners’ Melbourne Vacation Program provides you with first-hand experience of life in a professional service environment. You’ll benefit from real-world work experience, training, career information sessions, networking events and exposure to the Pitcher Partners culture.
You will be based in one of our Melbourne practice areas.
Through regular interaction with our partners and senior managers and a strong support network including an allocated buddy, this program allows you to increase your professional contacts and skills before you even graduate.

Private Business and Family Advisory (PBFA)
Private Business and Family Advisory (PBFA) team members work predominantly with privately run businesses, including family businesses, entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals. Pitcher Partners provides monthly and quarterly reporting assistance including acting in an outsourced financial controller role, providing expertise.
Core service offerings include annual compliance, preparation of management accounting, financial statements, income tax returns and business activity statements. Additional services are offered in forecasting, budgeting, superannuation and investment holding structuring. Large and small businesses have the comfort of retaining control and decision-making power, knowing that all day-to-day administration and monitoring is being undertaken by a dedicated professional and experienced team.
Pitcher Partners’ Tax Consulting team is one of the most experienced in Australia. The team of specialists and experienced professionals manage a range of taxation issues, regardless of size or complexity. As legislative experts with longstanding institutional relationships with the ATO, Pitcher Partners advocates for effective tax legislation that benefits middle market businesses and organisations.

When is the Melbourne Vacation Program?
Our Melbourne Vacation Program runs between November and February. Vacationers work full time over an eight-week period during the summer university break.

Applications for our 2019 Melbourne Vacation Program closed on 7 August 2019.
The recruitment process will consist of:

Stage 2: Online Assessment – 9 August to 23 August
Stage 3: Assessment Centre/Group Interview – 28 August to 4 September
Stage 4: Final interview – 9 September to 18 September
Stage 5: Offers – 19 September to 25 September
