Tax Manager

Your new role

You will deliver complex tax advice in relation to such matters as corporate restructures, acquisitions and divestments as well as tax losses, tax consolidation, CGT, debt/equity. You will be responsible for project management and delivery of multiple client engagements, including, identification of issues and opportunities, research and preparation of advice on complex tax matters. You will be involved in the financial management of engagements, including assisting with proposals, budgeting, billing and controlling of work in progress.

You will build and manage trusted client relationships through exceptional client service, while managing and mentoring our upcoming talent in the team through coaching and on the job training.

What you bring

Degree qualified, ideally you are currently working in a tax consulting role and are now looking for a role where you can expand your knowledge and specialise.

You have strong legislative interpretation skills, attention to detail coupled with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Senior Analyst - Private Business Family Advisory

Your new role

You will become a part of a fast growing business unit with a broad range of clients from a number of industries. The Private Business Family Advisory team not only conducts the taxation and accounting needs of clients but provides unique advisory services and has a niche market reputation, providing unrivaled opportunities, and strong interaction with all other business units with the firm. We have a flat line management structure, providing easy access to multiple Partners, whilst working predominantly for the team Manager.

The successful candidate will take the job from start to finish and deal directly with the clients. Your key focus Clients will be both SME and passive wealth. You will also be involved in CFO advisory work for a range of clients, client compliance, client advisory, client meetings, supporting your partners/managers and helping junior staff members of the team.

What you bring

You will have completed or be close to completing your CA program with 3-4 years of relevant experience, have strong attention to detail and an entrepreneurial spirit.

You will be comfortable in attending to all types of corporate, trust, super and individual accounting and taxation compliance of a simple to moderate complexity, with minimal supervision.

Experience in management and financial reporting and SME and passive wealth clients will also be helpful in addition to problem solving skills - you will be able to demonstrate the ability to "think outside the square".

BRIS Manager

Your new role

Your role will be managing a portfolio of matters, which will include liquidations, receiverships, voluntary administrations and trade-ons, drafting and submitting reports in a timely manner, attending stakeholder meetings, reviewing financial information and conducting financial investigations.

You will also have an opportunity to develop your M&A capabilities whilst leveraging your existing Business Reconstruction and Insolvency skills. You will be working on analysis of target entities in due diligence engagements, preparing due diligence reports, preparation of IM's and analysis for divestments, and financial modelling.

What you bring

You will have CA and ARITA qualifications, with at least 5 years' experience in insolvency. You are known for possessing a proactive, outcome focused approach and maintaining excellent client relationships.

Already armed with strong technical knowledge, you are able to prioritise tasks and effectively manage conflicting deadlines.

As a leader you are ambitious, act with integrity and can influence and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
