As the Sydney representative on the Pitcher Partners National Audit Liaison Group, Richard plays an instrumental role in monitoring and improving audit quality across the entire network.
Richard’s clients value his personable approach and his ability to manage and advise on technical accounting, financial reporting and audit matters relevant to their organisation. He takes the time to invest in his clients to better understand their needs and to find the right solutions.
Throughout Richard’s professional career, he has worked on a broad range of challenging and rewarding engagements. He has extensive experience with the audit and financial reporting obligations of ASX-listed public companies, as well as large and medium sized organisations across a wide range of industries. These include Listed Investment Companies (LICs), funds management, AFSL holders, property, real estate, recruitment, and professional services.
Richard started his career in the United Kingdom before migrating to the Cayman Islands, where he gained extensive experience within the financial services industry. He originally joined Pitcher Partners on secondment from the Cayman Islands in 2017, before returning to Pitcher Partners Sydney as a Client Director in 2018. He became a Partner in 2023.
