Daniel Sparks

Partner, Sydney

Daniel provides personal and international tax advice to high net wealth families and individuals including mobile executives and international families. His understanding of the available tax structures enhances personal wealth, protects assets and facilitates family succession including advice around different types of trusts, super funds, and corporate vehicles.

Recognising that foreign tax can be viewed as complex and complicated, particularly for clients with US backgrounds, Daniel simplifies taxation matters. His comprehensive experience in cross border strategies and inbound /outbound residency issues brings specialist insight into tax planning.

He works proactively with clients to understand and optimise their personal tax position.

Having gained substantial exposure to the US tax regime through working for mobile executives and international families, Daniel now regularly presents to local tax practitioners on the complex topic of US and Australian cross border taxation.

Daniel has been with the Sydney firm since 2005 and joined the partnership in 2017.
