Due to on-going growth, we currently have an excellent opportunity foran Analyst/ Senior Analyst to join the corporate finance team.

The Role:

As a Valuation Analyst/ SeniorAnalyst, you will support the delivery of valuation engagements throughfinancial modelling, analysis, research, and report writing. Be exposed to avariety of challenging and stimulating work for a diverse range of ASX listed& private companies. Your responsibilities will include:

• Working within project teams toundertake valuations of businesses, equity interests, financial instruments andintangible assets. Your work will be for various purposes including pre- andpost- transaction advisory, tax-related purposes, financial reporting such aspurchase price allocations, impairment testing, and employee share schemes.
• Supporting the endtoenddelivery of valuation engagements, including analysing key business valuedrivers, commercial rationale, and strategic considerations.
• Building and reviewing detailedfinancial models incorporating scenarios and sensitivities to support valuationoutcomes.
• Assisting team with Interviewingclients, including face-to-face meetings, to gather data and informationpertinent to the engagement
• Undertake in-depth analysis ofthe key commercial and financial aspects of target businesses.
• Perform market researchincluding industry, comparable company and benchmarking.
• Preparing clear, wellstructuredvaluation reports and presentations to communicate findings.
• Communicate and resolve issuesas they arise.
• Develop and maintainrelationships within the firm and external stakeholders.
• Deal directly with seniorpersonnel.
• Preparing proposals and feeestimates for new and potential clients.
• Assisting with general marketingand operational activities.

Who we are after:

Ideally you have 2-3 years’experience in corporate finance/audit within a Big 4 or Mid-Tier CharteredFirm, or equities analysis, with work experience in financial modelling andbusiness analysis. To be successful you will have outstanding academicqualifications (finance or accounting degree) and be a CA, on a CA pathway, orpursuing another relevant postgraduate pathway.

Other key skills and personalattributes we are looking for include:

• You will possess stronganalytical capabilities.
• Experience in financialmodelling using Excel and related software preferred.
• Welldeveloped commercial acumenand sound technical finance knowledge.
• Excellent written communicationskills, with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and wellstructuredreports.
• A positive, proactive attitudeand a strong sense of ownership over work delivered.
• Strong interpersonal andteamwork skills, with the ability to contribute effectively within acollaborative and supportive team environment.
• A strong desire to continuallydevelop themselves and others.
• Strong attention to detail, withthe ability to work accurately across complex financial information.
• Ability to identifyopportunities, build network, develop new business relationships and strengthenexisting client relationships will be highly valued.
