Your new role

Due to growth, we have an opportunity for full-time Senior Accountant in our Private Business and Family Advisory team, located in Newcastle.

In this role you will:

• Provide general accounting and tax compliance services to client groups within a broad range of industries.
• Prepare management reports for clients.
• Assist the client manager or partner with more complex taxation advice.
• Be responsible for the mentoring and training of junior team members.

About you

The successful candidate for this role will possess the following attributes:

• A minimum of 4 years experience in a public practice environment (business services/taxation).
• Completed (or near completion) of a Bachelor of Commerce degree (or similar) and have either commenced or intend to commence the CA program.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• An ability to work independently and as part of a team where required.
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
• A strong desire to learn and grow your skills to the next level, along with a high level of curiosity.
• A strong sense of engagement with our core values (noted below).
