About the role
We’re looking for an early‑career Project Analyst to join our Systems, Processes and Client Experience team. This role is ideal for recent Business/IT graduates or professionals with up to two years’ experience who are eager to build a career in project management, business analysis and advisory.
Based primarily in Newcastle with regular travel to Maitland, you’ll support a range of internal projects with a future pathway to client‑facing IT advisory and consulting engagements.
What you’ll do
- Contribute to research and analysis across technology, data and cyber advisory initiatives
- Support internal transformation workstreams, ensuring clear communication and progress
- Apply structured project management and business analysis methodologies with guidance from senior leaders
- Maintain project documentation including plans, risk registers, action logs and reporting
- Coordinate meetings and workshops, prepare supporting material and track follow‑ups
- Map and analyse business processes and assist with gathering and documenting requirements
About you
You’ll bring a curious, analytical and solutions focused mindset, paired with being technologically savvy with a genuine interest in digital, data and cyber. Highly organised and proactive, you communicate clearly and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Up to 2 years’ experience in an analyst, project, or consulting role (or relevant placement)
- Degree in or currently studying Business, Commerce, IT, Information Systems or related field
- Foundational understanding of project delivery, business analysis or process improvement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Suite, familiarity with Teams, SharePoint, Planner, Visio (or willingness to learn)
- Ability to travel between Newcastle and Maitland
