We’re proud to present Pitcher Partners Melbourne’s latest Charitable Committee report, celebrating another year of meaningful community impact.
Guided by our “making business personal” philosophy, our people, clients, and partners have come together to support causes that matter most – especially as economic pressures continue to affect communities across Victoria.
Making a difference together
This year, our commitment to giving back has been stronger than ever. Through a combination of pro bono and low bono professional services, hands-on volunteering, fundraising, and educational support, we’ve contributed over $1.258 million to local charities and community initiatives – exceeding our annual target.
We’ve supported a wide range of organisations, from those empowering women from migrant and refugee backgrounds through employment programs, to charities delivering children’s health initiatives and creating workplace opportunities for people with autism.
Our people have rolled up their sleeves for volunteering days and supported fundraising events for those in need. And the Pitcher Partners Charitable Fund has supported two aspiring students to pursue their studies in accounting.
Looking ahead
As we navigate the ongoing cost of living crisis, our focus remains on deepening our impact by partnering with charities that support those who need it most. We’re also proud to announce a new scholarship with RMIT, honouring David Thomson, a recently retired partner who passed away this year, but whose legacy continues to inspire us.
Thank you
We’re grateful for the collective effort of our people, clients, partners, and the incredible not-for-profit organisations who make this work rewarding.
