
Michal is a specialist in risk management and internal audit. He is solutions-oriented, with a commercial mindset that leads him to seek outcomes with long-lasting impact.
Michal focusses on working with organisations that provide essential services to the community and have a tangible impact on people’s lives. This includes government, utilities, not for profit, cultural, conservation and environmental bodies.
His approach to internal audit favours business process assessment and improvement. He is driven to look for solution to challenges, and finds it incredibly rewarding to see the changes and recommendations he has developed with organisations implemented on the ground.
Qualifications in engineering, business, innovation and entrepreneurship, adds a unique dimension to the work Michal undertakes. He applies learnings from across disciplines, which creates out-of-the box ideas that can shift an organisation’s thinking and provide creative ideas for change and improvement.
As a partner, Michal has built up the Pitcher Partners Melbourne risk services offering; promoting good corporate governance and best practice in risk management across both the firm’s client base and their own internal processes. He sits on the Baker Tilly Corporate Governance and Risk Management Group, which oversees business processes across the global network of firms.
Michal joined the Melbourne partnership in 2015.
