Team Assistant- SMSF

Due to our growth, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a team assistant to join our private business family advisory division.
The Role:
This role is ideal for someone with strong administration skills and attention
to detail who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will provide day-to-day
administrative support to the team to ensure the smooth delivery of services to
our SMSF clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to the SMSF team
including document preparation and client correspondence - Assist in onboarding new SMSF clients, including
preparation of engagement letters and setting up files - Liaise with team leaders and internal stakeholders to
collect information, documentation, and signatures - Maintain accurate client records in CRM Systems and
document management platforms - Assist with the lodgment of SMSF Annual returns, BAS,
and compliance documentation - Manage deadlines and reminders to the team
- Coordinate SMSF audit documentation and liaise with
external auditors as required - Assisting in preparing minutes, resolutions, and
trustee documents - Handle ATO correspondence on behalf of clients
- Provide support in reporting and billing processes
- Support team with projects and other tasks as required
What we are looking for:
- Previous SMSF administration ideally in accounting or
financial services experience supporting a team would be desirable but not
essential - 2 years’ + experience in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational
skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise urgent tasks.
- Initiative and ability to work independently.
- Resilient and able to maintain composure when under
pressure. - Proficient in Microsoft Office (word, Excel, Outlook);
experience with BGL360 (desirable) - Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
