Senior Accountant/Manager- US Tax

Due to on-going growth, we currently have vacancies on our US tax
team, within our Private Business Family Advisory division in Sydney. We are
currently looking for staff levels between senior consultant and experienced
manager, with the job title and remuneration level matched to a candidates
relevant experience.

The Role

As a member of our
growth-focused team, you will work with a diverse client base of individuals,
family groups, and global mobility corporate clients. You will provide
high-touch, value-added advisory and compliance services, working directly with
clients and senior leaders.

We will enable you
with the right tools and training to provide clients with global tax advice that
covers both the Australian and US jurisdictions. You will also have the
opportunity to collaborate and mentor our offshore team in end-to-end preparation
of US & Australian individual tax returns.

Sitting within our
wider Private Business Family Advisory division, you will be working alongside
young and vibrant team members with a collaborative and supportive culture.

If you are interest
in this opportunity, we are looking for candidates with the following
qualifications, skills, and experience:

• At
  least 2 years relevant experience working in tax;
• Tertiary
  qualification in a related discipline;
• A
  willingness to learn complex technical concepts – full training will be
  provided;
• Experience
  in executing both compliance and advisory work for clients;
• A
  commitment to client service with a proven track record of developing
  strong relationships with clients;
• Attention
  to detail and commitment to a high-level of client deliverables
• Excellent
  written and verbal communication skills
• Strong
  interpersonal and collaborative skills

Candidates who have experience in both Australian
and US individual taxes will be highly valued, however international candidates
with experience in US tax (especially foreign informational filings), or local
candidates with experience in Australian individual tax are also encouraged to
apply.
