About the team
Pitcher Partners has one of the largest insolvency teams in Melbourne, led by six experienced and skilled insolvency practitioners. We are an ethical and high-quality practice providing the full range of corporate and personal insolvency services, underpinned by the commitment of the highest level of financial investigation and recovery skills to the small and medium-sized enterprise market.
About the role
You will join a supportive and energetic team environment of around 40 staff and play a key role in supporting one Partner within the practice group. Collaborating with other Assistants within the team, you will take pride in delivering exceptional administrative support to the Business Recovery & Insolvency Partners. This role will also provide ad hoc administration support to the Critical Point Network (CPN) network.
Key responsibilities
- Extensive diary management
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Partner
- Organising local and international travel
- Typing dictations; emails, file notes and reports
- Finalising and applying electronic signature on behalf of Partner, including affidavits
- Credit card reconciliations and submitting expense claims
- Handling emails, phone calls, and other communications
- Creating, amending, formatting and finalising correspondence
- Assisting with marketing and training initiatives as well as any team events
- Preparing meeting agendas, gathering necessary documents, and ensuring all logistics are in place for meetings and presentation
- Assisting with project coordination tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met

- Experience within a fast-paced administration role, ideally in a corporate environment
- Experience with using the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Teams)
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritise tasks effectively
