Your new role
As an Assistant Manager or Manager within our Private Business and Family Advisory team you will support a client base with a diverse range of accounting, advisory and tax services advice. Your day will be a mix of technical support and business advice.
With direct reports to manage and mentor, you will be available to assist and guide when needed, provide proactive support for day to day issues and work together on career development and progression matters.
Technically you could prepare and review financial statements, management reports, budgets/cash flow forecasts, income tax returns, business activity statements or fringe benefit tax returns.
You will collaborate will colleagues across our various business areas and support, mentor and review the work of junior staff members.
We actively encourage and support post graduate studies and recognise hard work through our time in lieu leave arrangements. In addition, you will be mentored by senior experts within the group and participate in regular professional development training to further develop your knowledge and skills.
This role is offered on a flexible full time basis.
What you bring
You are CA or CPA qualified with experience working in a professional services firm.
You are positive and proactive and take pride in delivering superior support and commercial advice to clients. Already armed with strong technical knowledge, you want to keep learning and gain exposure to a range of client work.
System savvy, you can prioritise tasks and effectively manage conflicting deadlines.
As an aspiring leader you act with integrity and can easily influence and develop relationships with both key internal and external stakeholders.
