Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Officer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic AP/AR Officer to join our Finance team. If you have a genuine interest in numbers and have a passion for accuracy, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic work environment. This position will be primarily based in our Brisbane office.

Key responsibilities 

  • End to end accounts payable processing
  • Daily receipting of client payments
  • Distributing and reconciling petty cash and taxi vouchers
  • Assisting with account reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards and corporate travel expenses
  • Liaising with clients to resolve queries and monitoring the email inbox
  • General administration duties within the finance team including but not limited to scanning, filing and data processing
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate financial data

Relevant skills 

  • Basic understanding of financial principles
  • Strong willingness to learn and adapt
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain a high level of organisational efficiency in a dynamic work environment
  • Effective communication skills and team player
  • Experienced in MS Office suite, particularly Excel
