Superannuation for professionals
We can assist you with formulating tax effective contribution strategies taking account of current accumulated balances, previously received benefits and applicable Reasonable Benefit Limits.
Changes to work test rules from 2004 have created additional strategies for accumulating more wealth in a lower tax environment, for both working and non-working individuals. Opportunities can be created to double the allowable deduction limits currently available.
The proposed introduction of contribution splitting from 1 January 2006 will benefit individuals with spouses to manage excess benefits or allow their spouses to access concessionally taxed benefits not previously available.

We can advise you and your clients on retirement planning. We provide advice on the style of pension that suits the individual and considers the liquidity of current fund assets, and we can prepare documentation to commence and maintain a pension.
We have relationships with actuarial firms to provide support and technical advice on pension structuring and provide solvency certificates where required.
Splitting superannuation in divorce
Advising clients on how to split their superannuation during a divorce is a sensitive matter. Our Superannuation group has experience in this area of superannuation and can work with you or your client in achieving a tax effective outcome. We can arrange valuation certificates for members of defined benefit funds if required.
