Core Internal Audit Skills (Risk Services)
This area provides services to assist in managing, evaluating and monitoring organisational risks and core business services. We have performed a variety of reviews in Healthcare including financial compliance audits, operational audits, performance review, management reviews, internal control reviews and special investigations based on client requests. We specialise in delivery of audit services to organisations that require multi location internal audit and compliance audit reviews covering the same or similar scope of work. We have developed supporting technologies and a methodology to deliver this service and are able to provide results in a cost effective manner.

Enterprise Risk Management
We have extensive experience in Enterprise Risk Management which includes development of risk management frameworks, delivery of risk management training and development of risk registers through the facilitation of risk assessment workshops. We have developed a comprehensive methodology and supporting technology to underpin this capability.

Environmental Risk
We have considerable experience in Environmental Risk. We are the Internal Auditor of EPA Victoria and undertake a number of environmental reviews for them.

Probity


Our experience with, and knowledge of, private, public and not for profit tendering and procurement processes is extensive. We have undertaken process and probity roles over the last five years exceeding $10 billion in cumulative value, involving complex processes and projects attracting heightened public interest with multiple stakeholder groups.

We have been able to bring to these transactions the skills of a Probity Practitioner in an advisory, auditing and mentoring role, with the additional benefit of commercial judgement and insight. Pitcher Partners sits on the Victorian Government Procurement Board Panel.

An effective establishment audit is critical in assisting parties to communicate and ensure there are no misunderstandings about which items are reimbursable and which items are deemed to be covered in corporate and overhead margin.

Our Financial Modelling and Business Analysis team is experienced in the commercial application of complex financial modelling for better decision making within an organisation. Organisational Budgeting
A review of an organisation’s budgeting process can identify areas for improvement in timeliness, completeness, and accuracy. Review of Industry Practices
We have worked with state government departments to conduct a comprehensive review of industry participant practices in data capture and reporting. This has included liaison with a wide range of stakeholders to develop reporting standards to win industry wide acceptance and adoption.
