By admin - September 25, 2018

Welcome to our Sydney Wealth Management team's 2018 Spring Wealth Management Update, covering all the latest news from the previous quarter.

Model portfolio update

The long term investment performance of our model equity portfolios continues to be solid. See more.

Pitcher Partners Sydney Lending Services

We have been providing lending solutions to clients for over a decade and are excited to announce the appointment of John Fisher, as the new head of lending services. See more.

The problem with insurance within group super policies

As part of our role as trusted advisors, we actively seek out the superannuation statements of our clients to review the level of life and TPD cover held within their superannuation fund. We do this with a view to either recommending they retain their current level of cover, or increase/decrease the cover, if deemed to be in the best interest of our client. See more.

Transfer Balance Cap reporting

The Transfer Balance Cap (TBC) concept has now been in operation for a little over a year since its introduction. Super funds are required to report events that affect a member’s TBC. This article seeks to explain what these events are and the timeframe, specifically for self-managed super funds (SMSFs) in which they must be reported to the ATO. See more.
