Expanding services to meet clients’ changing needs underpins growth

By admin - November 23, 2017

Pitcher Partners attributes the growth of its national association over the last 12 months to clients demanding an ever-widening range of services as they take advantage of low interest rates or cash reserves to grow and expand their own businesses.

The evolution of accounting service lines into non-traditional areas and the focus on an advisor mindset amongst our partners and staff continues to ensure that Pitcher Partners remains relevant to the changing needs of our middle market clients.

Moving up to 7th position in the Australian Financial Review’s Top 100 Accounting Firms for 2017 and ranked as the second fastest for growth among the largest Australian accounting firms, all of the firms across the Pitcher Partners national association achieved revenue growth during the year ended 30 June 2017 as a result of the broadening of service lines, appointment of new partners, winning new clients and the provision of new services to our existing client base.

Services which have seen the most growth have been corporate advisory, investment advisory, data analytics, IT consulting, valuations of tangible and intangible property, transfer pricing, strategy consulting, international tax consulting and insurance services, all of which are reflective of our clients’ changing needs. In addition to this, we are assisting our clients through the minefield of technological innovation and helping them with the development of their digital strategies as well as their broader strategic business plans.

Stability of the six firms in our national association continues to be strong and we are continuing to invest in people and technology to effectively service our clients. Together with our international network, Baker Tilly International, we are also able to help our clients through the challenges of globalisation and offshoring.

The AFR’s Top 100 Accounting Firms 2017 highlights the indispensable role accountants play in driving growth and prosperity for their clients and the Australian economy. The full AFR Top 100 Accounting Firms list can be viewed here.
